RAM (RANDOM ACCESS MEMORY)
RAM is more than an album by the hit artists Daft Punk, it is also what is usually known as memory and it serves to hold all the information that your computer has to process in an instant. If you've ever had over 18 tabs open on Chrome and have your computer suddenly slow down, this is why. RAM usage is increasing by the years but fortunately this is the most easily upgradeable part of your PC and usually have extra slots to just add in more later. Don't forget to check out the B-die Finder.

DDR3, DDR4, DDR5? DANCE DANCE?
No, but good catch, this stand for Double Data Rate and this is because RAM runs at a certain frequency and it is doubled, giving you the speed that is advertised on the box. The numbers are the generations of this technology and currently DDR5 is slated to release for this year or 2022.

DOes speed matter?
Yes it does! You can have the same amount of ram in your system but speed will always affect the performance of your games. For intel systems it is recommended at least 2666mhz but for AMD Ryzen series it is recommended to go for at least 3600mhz because they rely on this speed.

HOW DO I KNOW which one to pick?
With so many on the market this is one of the toughest choice, but this is up to you, you can choose to go with RGB ram and forget about the speed but you can also prefer the performance and go for a more reliable Samsung B-die, don't worry I will leave you a link to find which ones they are.
